NBA Mid-Season Fantasy Basketball Rankings: 26-50

What's up RotoBallers. Welcome to part two of my mid-season fantasy basketball rankings. The 2015-16 NBA season has kicked into high gear and we’ve seen some very exciting games thus far. Most notably, the Warriors started the season on a tear winning their first 24 games consecutively.

You can see my top 25 players for the second half of the 2015-16 season here. Now here's 26-50.

Position Eligibility Based on Yahoo! Fantasy Basketball Player List

NBA Mid-Season Fantasy Basketball Rankings: 26-50

26. Hassan Whiteside (C, MIA) - Not a fan of this player at all (partly because he plays for Pat Riley and the Heat), but I have to give him due credit. He's averaging 12 points a game, 11 rebounds, and an astounding four blocks a game, that leads the league.

27. Rudy Gobert (C, UTA) - The Stifle Tower is averaging a double-double, to go along with three blocks. He is also shooting 57 percent from the field. His nickname alone gives him a nudge up in my rankings.

28. Greg Monroe (PF/C, DET) - NBA Mid-Season Fantasy Basketball Rankings: Top 25- Monroe is having a good all around year in his first season in Milwaukee. He's averaging 16 points, 10 rebounds, and shooting 51 percent from the field.

29. Jae Crowder (SF/PF, BOS) - IT4 may have flashier numbers, but if Bill Simmons thinks Crowder is more valuable, so be it.  Crowder is the Celtics best defender, averaging close to two steals a game.  He's filling a scarce fantasy position with efficient numbers.

30. Isaiah Thomas (PG, BOS) - Thomas is averaging 22 points a game, and the impact of his FT% is superb. His turnovers, FG%, and the word of Bill Simmons drag him below Crowder.

31. Rajon Rondo (PG, SAC) -  The rejuvenated Rondo is averaging 12 points and 11 assists a game. Who knew Rondo had any good ball left in him? His high assists total give him the edge over Jackson.

32. Reggie Jackson (PG/SG, DET) - Jackson is really coming into his own as a starting point guard in this league. He's averaging 19 a game to go along with six assists on 43 percent shooting. He's been a huge reason for the Pistons 23-21 record this season.

33. DeAndre Jordan (C, LAC) - He's averaging a double-double and shooting a league high 72 percent from the field, because all he does is dunk and score on putbacks. He can't play in crunch time of real games or in roto league lineups because of his 41 percent foul shooting, but he's an awesome asset in H2H leagues.

34. Dirk Nowitzki (PF/C, DAL) - In year 18, the big fellow is averaging 18 points a game on 45 percent shooting, and seven rebounds. He's also shooting 40 percent from three.

35. Kyrie Irving (PG/SG, CLE) - A little low, you think? Well, he's only played in 14 games this season and is averaging a career low assists, four a game. How can you have four assists a game when you're playing with LeBron James? He's also shooting a career low 41 percent from the field. He'll still need time to get back into the flow of the game and to mesh with new coach, Ty Lue.

36. Carmelo Anthony (SF/PF, NYK) - I wish the Knicks traded him, but Melo has been sharing the ball more. He's at his lowest point per game average since year two, but he's setting a career high in assists. I can't believe that Melo is averaging four assists a game. I never thought I would see Melo help his teammates out.

37. Derrick Favors (PF/C, UTA) - Career high in points, 17, and rebounds, eight, on 52 percent shooting. Just needs to fully recuperate from his back injury.

38. Giannis Antetokounmpo (SF/PF, MIL) - The Greek Freak is shooting 50 percent from the field, averaging 15 points a game and seven rebounds.

39. Nicolas Batum (SG/SF, CHA) - This might seem controversial right now with Kemba on fire and Batum out with a toe injury, but Batum is a better all-around player than Walker is.  The Frenchman is averaging a career high in points, 15 a game, and assists, 5.4. He also grabs six rebounds a game, hits threes, and plays scarcer fantasy positions.

40. Kemba Walker (PG, CHA) - Walker's elevated his scoring game, but has fewer assists and rebounds per game than Batum.

41. Nikola Vucevic (PF/C, ORL) - Vooch is averaging 19 a game and 10 boards. He also gets a block and steal per game. Keep those twitter wars coming, though.

42. Gordon Hayward (SG/SF, UTA) - He leads his team in points, 19 a game, assists, 5, and steals, 1.2.

43. Al Horford (PF/C, ATL) - Modest numbers for Horford thus far; 15 points a game, and seven rebounds. He'll also get you some assists and blocks with excellent efficiency, though.

44. Brandon Knight (PG/SG, PHO) - 20 points a game and five assists on a team with no other healthy players. If you can afford to ignore his FG% and turnovers, he should continue to put up big counting stats in the 2nd half after returning from a groin injury.

45. LaMarcus Aldridge (PF/C, SA) - His minutes and offensive numbers are down. That's what happens when you go to San Antonio. He's ninth in defensive win shares, and fifth in defensive rating, so he's a big factor in the real NBA game, just not the top 20 fantasy factor people were hoping for at the beginning of the season.

46. Marc Gasol (C, MEM) - Another classic year for Gasol despite the slow start; 17 points a game, seven rebounds, and four assists. Nothing crazy, but good enough to crack the top 50.

47. Kristaps Porzingis (PF/C, NYK) - I am very much biased here with P-Zinger. He's one of the only Knicks I actually like. Anyway, he's averaging 14 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks a game.

48. Serge Ibaka (PF/C, OKC) - Ibaka has the second most blocks this season, which is good enough to keep him in the top 50.

49. Kevin Love (PF/C, CLE) - He is averaging a double-double, so why this low? He's shooting a career low 41 percent from the field, and his opportunities have gone down since the return of Kyrie Irving. His best hope for big production is a trade.

50. Victor Oladipo (PG/SG, ORL) - The Cavs must regret picking Anthony Bennett over Oladipo. He's averaging 16 points a game, six rebounds, and five assists. He also gets 1.5 steals a game.

73962649. Kobe Bryant (SG, LAL) - The worst player in the league. End this retirement tour already. It's enough.
