In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 12/14/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Guards

John Wall (at MEM, $9,900)

John Wall should be a staple of a majority of DFS lineups tonight, as he played the Memphis Grizzlies, who are not great against the point guard position. Wall has been extremely solid of recent, scoring in the upper 50s on a rather consistent basis. His price tag has definitely come up quite a bit over the last couple of games, as he is now more expensive than Paul George, but his upside is just too good to pass up. He is one of the most dominant players in the entire league, and he is going to continue his reign of terror tonight. He has been playing with a sprained ankle for a little while now, according to Wall himself, so he should just continue to get better. Use him in any format - 50/50 contests or tournaments.

Jameer Nelson (vs HOU, $4,200)

Jameer Nelson is a must play tonight against the Houston Rockets, who are very uptempo and rarely play defense. Nelson is going to start for the Denver Nuggets with Emmanual Mudiay out of the lineup. In 38 minutes last game, Nelson scored over 38 fantasy points. His price tag is closer to $4,000 than $5,000, and he is going to easily hit value with all the minutes he is going to play tonight. He is going to be a huge part of the Denver Nuggets offense, but there are a ton of great plays on the Nuggets' team tonight. Use Nelson is every lineup. Do not avoid him or you'll be playing from behind in almost all your contests.

 

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Danilo Gallinari (vs HOU, $7,200) 

Danilo Gallinari is a little bit expensive on FanDuel (he is a great play on DraftKings tonight), but he is still worth it. The Houston Rockets are one of the worst teams in the league against the small forward position, and Gallinari is going to take full advantage of that tonight. In three of his last four games, Gallinari has over 30 fantasy points (upper 30s in two of them). He should be a bigger part of the offense with Mudiay out of the lineup tonight, so his value just goes up. The Rockets have allowed Joe Johnson to score over 40 fantasy points on them twice this season. Imagine what Gallinari is going to do.

Kenneth Faried (vs HOU, $6,400) 

Sticking with the Denver Nuggets theme tonight, let's move right along to Kenneth Faried, who is just too cheap tonight against the Houston Rockets. The Rockets love to push the pace of the game, which will add more rebound opportunities and shots to Faried's total, and they also barely play defense. Faried is going to take advantage of that. In his last game, against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he scored over 30 fantasy points and he could definitely do that again. If he doesn't, he should still score around 25-30 fantasy points rather easily. Again, without Mudiay in the lineup tonight, Faried will take on a larger role in the offense.

 

FanDuel DFS Centers

Brook Lopez (vs ORL, $7,900) 

Brook Lopez is the best center option on the board tonight. He is the most consistent, and Nikola Vucevic is not great at playing defense. Lopez has two bad games in a row now, but that will not continue to happen. He is all but sure to score over 30 fantasy points tonight. His price tag is not all that much higher than the center of the solid options on the board (Howard and Vucevic), so using him in 50/50 contests makes a lot of sense. If you are playing mainly in tournaments, you'll want to consider both Howard and Vucevic, but their minutes are always up in the air. Howard plays again tomorrow night, so it'll be interesting to see how the Houston Rockets play that.
