DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 12/13/15

By Keith Allison [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 12/13/15. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

There are only four games on Sunday to choose from. In the lineup below, you'll see a more well-rounded team, focused more so on players in the 7,000-8,000 range. I've tried, very hard, to stay away from the 9,000-10,000 guys, to free up cap space, and fill my lineup with at least four or five solid starters.

I also apologize, again, for picking on the 76ers. Sorry Philadelphia. But the team playing in the City of Brotherly Love has been spreading plenty of love to fantasy owners. Just not necessarily from their own players.

Check out my Daily NBA picks for DraftKings, 12/13/15.

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Brandon Knight (vs MIN, $7,700)

For the first time this season, Knight did not score in double digits Friday night. Actually, he wasn't even close, scoring one point in 33 minutes, missing all 12 of his field goal attempts and all eight of his three point attempts. He did, however, still finish the night with ten assists, five rebounds, and two steals. The extremely off night is just a fluke for Knight, now likely to get back on track battling Ricky Rubio on Sunday. Knight hasn't nailed a three in two games but that could change against a Timberwolves team who allow 25.5 three point attempts a night. They have also surrendered 7.4 steals a contest, appealing for Knight who picked up six steals against the Orlando Magic two games ago.

Cory Joseph (vs PHI, $4,400)

When Philadelphia played San Antonio last week, the Spurs rested their starters early and all but one Spur saw the court in the blowout victory. Facing the Raptors, the same could happen, ushering Kyle Lowry to the bench, giving control of the one spot to Joseph. Against the Bucks Friday night, Joseph dropped 13 points, three assists, three rebounds, three steals, and one block in 32 minutes. Also, the last time the Raptors faced off against the 76ers, Joseph picked up 15 points, five assists, and two rebounds; effective numbers for his low cost.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Terrence Ross (vs PHI, $3,600)

The same deal applies here, as it did for Joseph, but there is more appeal to starting Ross than just the Raptors one-win opponent. Ross has started for DeMarre Carroll in three straight games. His best performance in that span came against the only team Philadelphia has beaten this season; the Los Angeles Lakers. Ross scored 22 points, shooting 8-12 from the field and 4-6 from behind the arc, grabbing six boards and two steals. Keep an eye on the status of Carroll, but whether or not he laces up, Ross will have plenty of opportunities to duplicate his performance against the Lakers, for a very inexpensive price.

Eric Bledsoe (vs MIN, $8,300)

Bledsoe is the best option at the two spot in all of Sunday's contests, and one of the best overall in the NBA. He averages over 40 fantasy points a night, and isn't that expensive. There is absolutely no downside ever when starting Bledsoe. He has scored in double digits in every game this season and has generously sprinkled stats in each category all year.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Gordon Hayward (at OKC, $7,000)

It's time to jump on Hayward before his price rises even more. He has averaged 22.2 points per game in his last ten, and continues to stay hot. Hayward has picked up multiple steals in four of his last five games, and at least one in nine of his last ten. In a lopsided contest against the struggling New York Knicks, Hayward dropped 24 points in only 27 minutes of action. He is also the best option at his position on Sunday (besides the expensive Kevin Durant) and heads to Oklahoma City for the second leg of a home-and-home against the Thunder.

Matt Barnes (at MIA, $4,300 )

In late November and early December, Barnes scored in double digits in seven straight games. Recently, he has returned to his productive ways. Off the bench Friday night, the journeyman scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds. With Jeff Green's production continuing to plummet, Barnes seems like the better play of the two small forwards. I mean, I think you have to favor a guy who has played on nine different teams in 12 years, and has more tattoos than points scored on most nights. Jokes aside, Barnes is very affordable.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Luis Scola (vs PHI, $4,500)

The last time Toronto played Philadelphia, Scola scored 21 points and grabbed five rebounds, in only 19 minutes. Scola is the third Raptor to make the cut, rightfully so. He's inexpensive, starts on a first place team, accumulates over 30 minutes, and spreads numbers across the board. Look for Scola to be among many Raptors boosting their stat-line on Sunday.

Chris Bosh (vs MEM, $7,200)

The Memphis Grizzlies relinquish 34.5 rebounds and 6.2 blocks a night. Bosh could very well take advantage of that in a likely close game and return to his consistent double-double ways. Bosh is coming off his first double-double, 23 points and ten rebounds, in over a week. I like the veteran here, as he'll likely battle against another veteran, Zach Randolph.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Karl-Anthony Towns (at PHO, $7,000)

The Suns allow the fifth most points in the league, 105.2 a game. Towns has been heating up of late, scoring in double digits in four straight. He's also swatted away at least one ball in 13 straight games, 12 over his last five, and has picked up a block in all but three games this season. Towns has racked up ten double-doubles thus far. The Suns also allow 33.6 rebounds a night, a bulk of which will likely to go to Towns.
