DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 11/23/15

All the players you see below will most likely not explode onto scoresheets, but they will free up cap space and have the potential to put up a quick 20 points.

This is a lineup consisting strictly of sleepers. They aren't consistent options but will serve as solid place holders that can capitalize on injuries, match-ups, and give your team a boost for an inexpensive price.

Check out my Daily NBA picks for DraftKings, 11/23/15

DraftKings Point Guards

Greivis Vasquez (vs DET, 3,700)

Vasquez is definitely more of a handcuff to Michael Carter-Williams, but since MCW has been injury-prone, Vasquez has some value, when monitored. Against the Denver Nuggets over a week ago, without MCW, Vasquez made the most of his increased 33 minutes, and dropped 15 points and nine assists. He's struggled of late but succeeds when he pulls the trigger behind the arc.

Elfrid Payton (at CLE, 5,900)

Okay so maybe Payton isn't a sleeper, but for his price and his ability, he ought to be. Payton is the most expensive player on this list. The Magic could very well find themselves in a catch-up game against the sizzling Cavaliers, where Payton's minutes will stay around and could breach the 40-mark. His stock has dropped from the beginning of the season but is rising again. It'll be wise to grab him before his price increases even more, especially since he's capable of spreading significant numbers in each category.

DraftKings Shooting Guards

Jeremy Lamb (vs SAC, $4,500)

When you're shooting 54.7% from the field, it doesn't matter that you're Nicolas Batum's backup. Lamb still plays over 20 minutes and can always be a threat from long-range. He's a very smart shooter and makes the most of his selective field goal attempts. On the defensive side, opponents are shooting only 32.6% with Lamb defending them, 13% below average, according to Stats.NBA.com. The Bobcats play a Sacramento Kings team that allow 108.2 points and 26.8 three-point attempts per game.

Dion Waiters (at UTA, $4,400)

It's difficult to start anyone on Oklahoma City amidst two ball-hogs in Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, when they're both healthy, of course. Waiters has benefited from Durant's extended absence and has seen an increase in minutes of late. He has also out-played and out-performed starter, Andre Roberson, making him a clear favorite to continue to capitalize on Durant's injury. Waiters is definitely a wild-card but shoots the ball over ten times a game.

DraftKings Small Forwards

Jerami Grant (at MIN, 4,500)

Grant's price has dropped a bit, but he can score in double-digits and produce enough rebounds and assists to still exceed the 20-point mark consistently. If he can stay out of foul trouble early, he can always be effective on an ineffective Philadelphia 76ers team. Minnesota has relinquished an average of 102.8 points per game, benefiting the 76ers who are still seeking their first win of the season. The 76ers have been the crazy ex-significant other that you, for whatever reason, can't stay away from. They're 0-14, but picking their players in daily fantasy has its appeal, as they often play from behind, warranting plenty of shots from all over the floor.

Luol Deng (vs NYK, 4,400)

Deng's value continues to increase. Same deal as Grant, capable of tallying enough stats in each category, but plays on a much better team. Deng attempts plenty of threes and frequents the free-throw line. The Heat have scored over 90 points in all but one game this season, and expect the same even against a streaking New York Knicks club. Deng is an 11-year veteran in the NBA and although on a bit of a decline, has made a living scoring consistently.

DraftKings Power Forwards

Tristan Thompson (vs ORL, 4,800)

I like anybody on the Cavaliers, especially someone playing with Lebron James. Thompson is another guy that can do enough to exceed his projection and average, and then some. He's picked up 27 rebounds in the past two games, 21 points to go with it. Thompson is also coming off a season-high 40 minutes played and could see similar production if the Cavs are up big early against the Orlando Magic.

Omri Casspi (at CHA, 4,500)

Casspi has seized plenty of opportunities in Sacramento. In the absence of DeMarcus Cousins this season, Casspi has averaged 12 points, five rebounds, and 28.8 minutes played. He has seen an increase in minutes of late and will look to benefit from more injuries if Rudy Gay can't lace up on Monday. Monitor Gay's status and gladly give Casspi the nod if he misses action again.

DraftKings Center

Gorgui Dieng (vs PHI, $3,600)

I like a guy that can put up five blocks in one game, and even if Dieng isn't scoring, he still sprinkles enough stats to put up efficient fantasy points. He is a backup to the impressive Karl-Anthony Towns, but has seen over 20 minutes in his last three games. With the exception of Towns, the Timberwolves lack a strong presence in their front court. Kevin Martin will start for a lackluster Tayshaun Prince on Monday, and Dieng can easily inherit more time as well. If Dieng's minutes boost, so will his value.
