ANALYSIS: Saunders has a 4 game hit streak going with 2 HR and 8 RBI during that span. On the season he has only 4 HR and 2 SB in 136 AB, which is not on pace with preseason hopes for him to be a potential 20-20 guy like he nearly was in 2012. That said, Saunders is still a worthwhile pickup in deep leagues as long as he's swinging a hot stick. He is slugging .456 on the year which is fine for a 5th OF. Saunders is playing almost every single day, and he is mashing right handed pitching (.470 SLG vs. RHP, /417 SLG vs LHP), so as long as you can adjust your lineup daily, he's a productive 5th OF in deep leagues when the matchups are right.
