Vancouver Canucks center Marco Rossi (lower body) will be sidelined for 2-3 more weeks, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports. Due to a lower-body injury, Rossi has not played for the Canucks since Dec. 30, missing five games. Based on Monday's update, Rossi is expected to sit out at least eight more games. The injury came at an unfortunate time for Rossi, who changed teams in December. Since his move from Minnesota, Rossi hasn't found chemistry with his new teammates, recording two points (one goal, one assist) in eight games. Rossi's absence has given second-line center duties to David Kampf, but he's been anonymous on the offensive end, going five games without any points.--Taavi Pailk
