Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko (lower body) was placed on Injured Reserve on Sunday. The move came after Demko suffered a lower-body injury in Saturday's 5-0 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Vancouver's No. 1 will sit out at least four games, beginning with Monday's matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. Demko has an 8-10-1 record, a 2.90 goals-against average, a .897 save percentage, and one shutout this season. Kevin Lankinen is set to start the majority of games while Demko is on the mend, with Nikita Tolopilo called up from the AHL to provide cover in the crease.--Taavi Pailk
