Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football waiver wire outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider adding off waivers in Week 15:

Marcus Mariota, QB, Washington Commanders

Washington Commanders quarterback Marcus Mariota has started six games in place of Jayden Daniels this season and has mostly played very well. Mariota entered Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings after Daniels aggravated his previously dislocated left elbow after an interception in the third quarter.

The veteran also couldn't get anything going for Washington's offense, as he threw an interception on his second pass of the game and later lost a fumble on a rushing attempt. There are plenty of questions around Daniels' availability for Week 15's divisional matchup against the New York Giants. Head coach Dan Quinn said on Monday that Daniels is "sore," but there aren't any long-term concerns, and his status will be monitored throughout the week.

For what it's worth, Daniels was listed on the schedule for his weekly media availability on Wednesday, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic. Mariota would immediately re-enter the conversation as a high-end QB2 in fantasy football if Daniels is ultimately unable to go this weekend.

Rachaad White, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White was dropped in a lot of fantasy leagues when backfield mate Bucky Irving returned in last week's win over the Arizona Cardinals. With Irving back in the fold, White played only 38% of the offensive snaps in Week 13, his lowest number since Week 3.

The 26-year-old had only two carries for seven yards against Arizona and caught all three of his targets for 22 yards. However, White was more involved in the upset loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, playing 49% of the snaps while seeing 11 rushing attempts for 53 yards. He caught one pass for a two-yard gain. Irving had four more carries than White, but White was more effective, averaging 4.8 yards per carry.

No. 3 back Sean Tucker saw seven carries for 29 yards. White will still be involved in Tampa's backfield and appears to be the RB2, but his limited opportunities in the passing game now make him mostly a bench stash in fantasy leagues as long as Irving stays healthy the rest of the way.

Tank Bigsby, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles running back Tank Bigsby played only one snap on offense in the Black Friday loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 13. In Monday night's overtime loss to the Los Angeles Chargers to close out Week 14, Bigsby was on the field for seven plays and had one carry for a gain of four yards.

He was not targeted in the passing game. Since the team's Week 9 bye, Bigsby hasn't been on the field for more than eight offensive plays in a struggling Eagles offense. The 24-year-old hasn't had more than one carry in the last three games. His nine-carry, 104-yard game in the 38-20 win over the New York Giants back on Oct. 26 seems like ages ago.

Will Shipley has been used in obvious passing downs behind starter Saquon Barkley, too, which has left a very minimal role for Bigsby. At best, he's a deep-league handcuff for those who have Barkley rostered.

Isaiah Davis, RB, New York Jets

Across 13 games so far in 2025, New York Jets running back Isaiah Davis has recorded 277 scrimmage yards on 43 touches. Davis has served as the Jets' RB2 behind Breece Hall since Week 4, when second-year back Braelon Allen (knee) suffered a knee injury that landed him on Injured Reserve.

The Jets have given almost all of their backfield work to Hall, as Davis has logged more than four touches in a game just twice this season. Davis has zero standalone value for fantasy managers as long as Hall remains healthy. However, if Hall were to get injured, Davis would be in line to dominate backfield touches in New York.

As fantasy managers hit the playoffs in most league formats, Davis could be worth stashing in a bench spot just in case Hall gets hurt. The Jets will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints, and New England Patriots over the next three weeks.

Jalen McMillan, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen McMillan (neck) was spotted at practice on Tuesday, according to Greg Auman of Fox Sports. McMillan was listed as a limited practice participant on Monday's injury report ahead of Tampa Bay's Week 15 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night.

The 24-year-old has yet to play in 2025 after suffering a neck injury in the preseason that led to him being placed on Injured Reserve. Across 13 games as a rookie in 2024, McMillan recorded 37 catches for 461 yards and eight touchdowns on 58 targets.

Upon his return, McMillan will join a crowded wide receiver room in Tampa Bay that includes Emeka Egbuka and Chris Godwin, and could also be getting back veteran Mike Evans (collarbone) in Week 15. Given his long injury layoff and Tampa Bay's wealth of pass-catching options, McMillan may see limited playing time in 2025.

Samaje Perine, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine has had a meaningful role in the offense over the past two weeks, playing 38.5% of the snaps while handling 20 carries for 70 yards with three receptions (three targets) for 20 yards.

However, he's been firmly behind starter Chase Brown, who has played 62.9% of the snaps with 27 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown while adding 10 catches for 47 yards and another touchdown on 11 targets.

Perine is a trusted veteran in pass protection and has familiarity with the Bengals offense, so he should maintain a healthy role behind Brown. His usage would tick up if Brown were to miss time, but his current value is just limited to deeper formats as a handcuff.

Theo Johnson, TE, New York Giants

New York Giants tight end Theo Johnson will return from his team's bye week and look to continue his solid season, working as one of the top targets for Jaxson Dart. Johnson has at least three catches in seven straight games and has totaled 42 catches for 456 yards and five touchdowns in his 13 games this season.

He matched his season high with eight targets against the Patriots in his most recent game before the bye week, and he has established a solid rapport with Dart, which makes him one of the best widely available tight end plays in most leagues.

Johnson hasn't hit 100 yards in any game yet, but he has posted at least 75 yards in two of his last four games, showing he has a good ceiling to go with his solid PPR floor. The Giants have a favorable schedule the rest of the season, starting this week with a home game against the struggling Commanders.

Jerry Jeudy, WR, Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy has proven he can have massive games in the past, and the first-round pick had one of his best games of the season in Week 14 against the Titans. He only had three catches but racked up 76 yards and a long touchdown from Shedeur Sanders, who looked like a solid QB for the rest of the year.

Sanders throws the deep ball well, and if he connects more often with Jeudy, the receiver could be a nice add for the fantasy football playoffs. Jeudy has shown a very high ceiling, and he may now have a QB who can connect with him to make big plays.

His season-long numbers are still not very impressive, but he and Sanders are trending up coming into their matchup this week with the Bears, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season.

Brian Robinson Jr., RB, San Francisco 49ers

Across 13 games this season, San Francisco 49ers running back Brian Robinson Jr. has recorded 72 carries for 328 yards and two touchdowns. While Robinson Jr. has been efficient with his touches, the 26-year-old has not recorded more than nine carries or 53 rushing yards in any game.

As long as star 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey remains healthy, Robinson Jr. will stay in a supporting role. However, if McCaffrey were to suffer an injury, Robinson Jr. would immediately vault into being a must-start fantasy running back.

As the fantasy season winds to a close, Robinson Jr.'s lack of standalone value is less important. In all leagues with 12 or more teams, Robinson Jr. should be a waiver wire target heading into his Week 15 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

Bam Knight, RB, Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight had seven carries for 16 yards in Sunday's 45-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14. Knight also had three catches for 18 yards on six targets. The 24-year-old was kept out of the end zone for the first time since Week 10, snapping a three-game touchdown streak.

The Cardinals' offense quickly abandoned the run game to try to keep up on the scoreboard and finished the game with 44 passing attempts to only 14 rushing attempts. Knight continues to live off his touchdown production this year and has yet to produce over eight fantasy points in a game without scoring a touchdown in half-PPR formats.

Heading into Week 15, Knight's role in the offense will be cloudy with the possible return of Trey Benson (knee) from Injured Reserve. The team initially opened Benson's 21-day activation window leading into Week 12, but they have yet to activate him. Benson will have to be activated before Arizona's Week 15 matchup against the Houston Texans to avoid reverting to season-ending IR.
