Rasmus Andersson Extends Point Streak With Three Assists
Calgary Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson finished Sunday's 5-2 road win over the Vancouver Canucks with three assists. In the process, Andersson extended his point streak to five games. The Swedish blue-liner has overcome a slow start to the season, becoming one of the most productive defensemen in the league recently. Andersson's point streak includes two goals and eight assists. Sunday's performance was his second three-point effort in three games. Following his recent scoring surge, only Nazem Kadri has managed more points than Andersson with the Flames this season. Across 24 games, Andersson has recorded 16 points (five goals, 11 assists), along with 42 blocks.
