Vladimir Tarasenko Misses Third Consecutive Game
Minnesota Wild winger Vladimir Tarasenko (lower body) will be sidelined for a third straight game on Wednesday against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Russian veteran sustained a lower-body injury at practice last Friday. This season, Tarasenko has impressed with his playmaking, registering eight assists in 18 outings. However, he has been limited to two goals on 30 shots. Liam Ohgren has taken over Tarasenko's spot in the Wild lineup. There was quite a bit of hype surrounding Ohgren leading up to the season, but he has struggled to make an impact, going scoreless in seven appearances.
