Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 12:
George Pickens, WR, Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens continued his strong first season with the team in Monday night's win over the Las Vegas Raiders, catching nine of his 11 targets for 144 yards and a touchdown. Pickens and fellow star wideout CeeDee Lamb both sat out the first offensive series of the game due to a coach's decision, but it didn't prevent them from having big games, especially Pickens.
The former Pittsburgh Steeler tied a season high in catches and had his third game with at least 130 yards receiving, which is now the most in the league among wide receivers after Monday night. While both Cowboys wideouts have been great, Pickens has outproduced Lamb since he returned in Week 7, with 383 receiving yards to Lamb's 335.
He will continue to rank as a strong WR1 moving forward in Dallas' high-powered offense.
Bam Knight, RB, Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight saw a scaled-back role in the rushing game during Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Heading into this game, Knight had seen nine carries or more in each of his last four games. However, Knight carried the ball only five times for 24 yards and scored a touchdown in the loss. He also hauled in all four of his targets through the air for 21 additional yards.
The fact the game was a blowout could've contributed to the lack of carries for Knight. He figures to have a bigger role during next week's matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars with Emari Demercado (ankle) sidelined. Fantasy managers should be able to plug in Knight as a low-end flex option.
Darnell Mooney, WR, Falcons
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney is expected to see more targets moving forward. It's been a rough 2025 campaign for the sixth-year receiver, who has caught just 16 of 42 targets for 224 yards and no touchdowns in eight games. However, with Drake London (knee) likely to miss multiple weeks due to a PCL injury, Mooney should step into a much larger role.
Both Brock Bowers and Ricky Pearsall dealt with PCL sprains this season and missed four or more weeks. With Michael Penix Jr. (knee) out for the season, Kirk Cousins will take over at quarterback and could lean on Mooney heavily, like he did at times in 2024. Mooney now projects as the top option in the passing game and should be one of the most popular waiver-wire adds this week.
Christian Watson, WR, Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson could be set up for a few weeks as the team's top pass-catcher before the potential return of Jayden Reed (collarbone/foot) from IR. In his growing role, he makes a nice addition if he's on the waiver wire in your leagues. The fourth-year receiver from North Dakota State missed the first seven weeks of the season but has played four straight games, logging multiple receptions and over 40 yards in each contest.
On Sunday, he scored his first two touchdowns of the year to help power the Packers past the Giants. Watson and the Packers have tough receiver matchups against the Vikings and Lions in the next two weeks, but then he has three favorable matchups in the last four weeks of the fantasy season against the Bears twice and the Ravens.
