Calgary Flames left wing Samuel Honzek (upper body) was forced to exit Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Winnipeg Jets in the second period. The Jets scored their first goal in bizarre circumstances, as Mark Scheifele took advantage of Honzek's collision with his teammate Mikael Backlund. Honzek had two hits in 7:05 of ice time before his exit. Backlund remained in the game. After 18 appearances, Honzek boasts four points (two goals, two assists) and 35 hits for his rookie campaign. He has been skating on the third line with Backlund and Blake Coleman. Yegor Sharangovich has been a healthy scratch for a couple of games, but may now receive a new opportunity to play because of Honzek's injury.--Taavi Pailk
