Thomas Chabot to Sit Out Two Weeks
Ottawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot (upper body) is expected to miss at least two weeks, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports. He sustained an upper-body injury this week and missed his first contest of the season on Thursday night against the Boston Bruins. In 17 outings, Chabot has tallied 10 points (two goals, eight assists), while blocking a team-high 35 shots. On Thursday, Nikolas Matinpalo replaced Chabot in the lineup, and Tyler Kleven saw increased ice time. Another change in the backline might be coming for the Senators after Nick Jensen (upper body) was hurt against Boston.
