Jaxson Dart in Concussion Protocol, Won't Start in Week 11
New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol and will not start against the visiting Green Bay Packers in Week 11 on Sunday, according to interim head coach Mike Kafka. Veteran Jameis Winston, not Russell Wilson, will start under center for the G-Men this weekend with Dart sidelined. The 22-year-old signal-caller suffered a concussion in last Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears and will have to miss at least one game. Given their record, the Giants will likely play it safe with their first-round QB, so it probably won't be a lock that Dart returns to start in Week 12 on the road against the Detroit Lions. Before his concussion in Week 10, Dart had injected life into New York's offense and had become a QB1 option for fantasy managers because of his rushing abilities, scoring seven rushing touchdowns in his first nine games. Keep Dart stashed everywhere.
