Frederik Andersen Pulled by Concussion Spotter
Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen was pulled by the concussion spotter in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Washington Capitals. He exited the game only a few minutes from the end, finishing with 24 saves on 27 shots. Pyotr Kochetkov wasn't forced into any saves after he took over the crease from Andersen. There have been a few rough outings for Andersen lately, and it would be another setback for the Danish veteran if he has to miss time. Andersen holds a 5-4-0 record and has a 3.00 goals-against average and a .892 save percentage. Kochetkov will share the Hurricanes' net with Brandon Bussi if Andersen needs to take some time off.
