No Timetable for Chris Godwin's Return
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said that the team is hoping to get wide receiver Chris Godwin (leg) back soon, but there is still no timetable for his return, according to the Pewter Report. Godwin didn't make his 2025 debut until Week 4 after rehabbing a serious ankle dislocation that he suffered in Week 7 of 2024. The 29-year-old played in two games before suffering a serious fibula injury, and he hasn't played since Week 5. Although the Bucs could really use him back following Mike Evans' broken collarbone, the team isn't going to rush him back, and reports have suggested he might not play in a game again until December. Fantasy managers should expect Godwin to miss a fifth straight game in Week 11 versus the Buffalo Bills. Until Godwin can return, rookies Emeka Egbuka and Tez Johnson should continue to do the heavy lifting in the passing game.
