Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 10:
Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews caught two of his three targets for 22 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday's Week 9 win over the Miami Dolphins. The veteran tight end had relatively low involvement in the victory, but he was highly efficient in terms of scoring, converting both of his grabs into touchdowns.
The 30-year-old now has 26 catches, 230 yards, and four touchdowns this season, which is a relatively underwhelming line through eight games.
With that said, Andrews has scored four touchdowns through five games with Lamar Jackson under center, so perhaps the quarterback's return from a hamstring injury will give him a significant boost going forward. He ranks as a mid-range TE2 for Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Oronde Gadsden, TE, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden continues to impress, leading the team in receiving yards (68) and tying for second in targets (5) during Sunday's 27-20 win over the Tennessee Titans. He's quickly becoming one of Herbert's most trusted weapons, especially when the pocket collapses.
Up next is a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that has been one of the league's weakest against tight ends, allowing the sixth-most yards and tying for the second-most touchdowns to the position. They did, however, hold Indianapolis Colts rookie tight end Tyler Warren to only 26 receiving yards on Sunday.
With Justin Herbert likely forced into short, quick throws behind a depleted offensive line, Gadsden could thrive once again. He's shaping up as a mid-range TE1 with legit upside heading into Week 10.
Sam LaPorta, TE, Detroit Lions
Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta caught six of his eight targets for 97 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's Week 9 loss against the Minnesota Vikings. His best play of the game was a 40-yard touchdown in which he withstood a bombardment of Vikings tackles and plowed his way across the goal line.
The 24-year-old now has three touchdowns over his last four games and ranks as the overall TE7 in PPR leagues with 35 catches, 436 yards, and three scores in 2025.
Sam LaPorta should continue to be viewed as a top-10 fantasy tight end heading into Week 10 against the Washington Commanders.
Kyle Pitts, TE, Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. drew another seven targets in Week 9's 24-23 loss to the Patriots, converting them into four catches for 38 yards. While his continued involvement in the passing attack has been a welcome change compared to the underwhelming production of the past few seasons, it hasn't amounted to much for fantasy, as the 25-year-old has just a single touchdown on the season.
Also, although he's on pace for 91 receptions, which would obliterate his previous career high of 68, the 6-foot-6 tight end is pacing for 812 yards, which would be more than last season's 602 yards but would fall well short of his career high of 1,026 that was set in his rookie season of 2021.
Still, with two more red zone targets this past Sunday, the fifth-year pro could be on the verge of his big breakout performance of 2025, and he'll get a favorable matchup against the Colts in Germany this week versus a defense that's yielded a touchdown to an opposing tight end for four straight weeks now.
