Tristan Jarry Lands on Injured Reserve
Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry (undisclosed) has been placed on Injured Reserve. Jarry played the entire game on Monday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs, coughing up a three-goal lead in the third period of a 4-3 loss. It also looks like he was hurt during the contest and will miss some time. Monday's collapse ended a four-game winning streak for Jarry. He carries a 5-2-0 record for the season and has registered one shutout with a 2.60 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage. Arturs Silovs, who is 3-2-2 this year, is poised to see more playing time during Jarry's absence. The Penguins have recalled Sergei Murashov from the minors as an additional goalie option. On Tuesday, Pittsburgh also placed forwards Noel Acciari (upper body) and Justin Brazeau (upper body) on Injured Reserve.
