San Jose Sharks forward Philipp Kurashev maintained his good scoring form with an assist in Sunday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Detroit Red Wings. Kurashev picked up his helper 49 seconds into the second period when Jeff Skinner scored. Last week, Kurashev was one of the hottest forwards in the National Hockey League, scoring multiple points in three consecutive games. He's on an overall point streak of five games, recording four goals and four assists. Before he heated up, Kurashev had only one point for the season, so his current performance levels are unsustainable. But he's an intriguing fantasy option in his current form, playing on a team that has averaged 3.8 goals over its last five games.--Taavi Pailk
