Conor Garland Ruled Out for Thursday
Vancouver Canucks right wing Conor Garland (undisclosed) will miss Thursday's clash against the St. Louis Blues, Patrick Johnstone of The Province reports. Garland was hurt in Tuesday's meeting with the New York Rangers and has stayed behind as the team begins a three-game road trip. Although the team has struggled, Garland has made a nice start to the season, scoring 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in 11 games. With his absence, the Canucks will need to adjust their top line and first power-play unit. Kiefer Sherwood may have a larger role until Garland returns.
