Brett Pesce Expected to Be Out for One Month
New Jersey Devils defenseman Brett Pesce (upper body) will exit the lineup for Tuesday's matchup against the Colorado Avalanche and isn't expected to return for at least a month. The hardworking rearguard suffered an upper-body injury against the Avalanche on Saturday. Pesce leads the Devils with 24 blocks and has contributed three assists in nine games on the offensive end. Seamus Casey will play in Pesce's absence on Tuesday. At the same time, Simon Nemec, who bagged a hat trick of assists in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win, could see more usage on the blue line.
