Jayden Daniels Won't Return in Week 7
Jayden Daniels (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's Week 7 contest against the Dallas Cowboys. He initially exited during the third quarter and was listed as questionable before being downgraded to out. The former No. 2 pick was seen walking to the locker room. While doing so, he gave a thumbs-up to the crowd. Ultimately, though, the team has decided that he won't be able to return. It's possible that the score factored into this decision, as Washington has consistently been trailing by three possessions. Daniels finishes the game having completed 12 of 22 passes for 156 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. He also rushed for 35 yards. Marcus Mariota will finish the game as the Commanders' quarterback.
