New York Islanders defenseman Alexander Romanov (undisclosed) didn't practice on Friday and will be a game-time decision for Saturday's clash against the Ottawa Senators. Romanov has struggled to make an impact offensively this season and may even benefit from having some time off. He has zero points through four games and holds a minus-three rating. On the defensive end, Romanov has stayed busy with 12 blocks and 15 hits. The Islanders have Adam Boqvist as an extra defenseman on the roster, and he's poised to replace Romanov against Ottawa if he can't play.
