Buffalo Sabres left wing Zach Benson racked up four assists in his season debut on Wednesday, helping his squad beat the Ottawa Senators 8-4. Benson, who had missed the first few games of the campaign due to a facial injury, registered assists in all situations, starting off with a short-handed helper in the second period. He logged nearly a minute and a half on the penalty kill, while spending 3:43 on the power play. During even-strength play, Benson was partnered with Tage Thompson and Alex Tuch on the first line. The trio scored a combined eight points, so it's safe to assume that they will stick together for a while.--Taavi Pailk
