Mateusz Gamrot suffered a second-round submission loss to former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira in the main event of UFC Rio on Saturday. Gamrot went for a takedown inside the first minute and immediately found himself in danger, but after a scramble, Gamrot managed to get out. However, in the second round, Oliveira took Gamrot down, took his back and forced Gamrot to tap after landing a nasty face crank. A victory could have propelled Gamrot into contender status. With the loss, Gamrot dropped to 25-4 as a pro.--Alen Kurbasic
