Josh Norris Sustains Upper-Body Injury Against Rangers
Buffalo Sabres center Josh Norris (upper body) was injured late in Thursday's 4-0 loss to the New York Rangers. He was slow to get up after falling to the ice during a face-off situation. Norris has battled shoulder issues in the past, limiting him to just 114 regular-season games over the last three seasons. Buffalo lost Zach Benson (face) during Wednesday's practice, so the Sabres attack has taken several early blows this season. Ryan McLeod will likely need to take on a top-six role if Norris misses time. He's been a reliable fantasy option for managers and produced a career-high 53 points (20 goals, 33 assists) in 79 games last season.
