Jaylin Noel Not Fantasy Relevant Despite First Career Touchdown
Jaylin Noel found the end zone for the first time in his NFL career during the team's dominant 44-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5. The rookie caught two of three targets for 13 yards and a touchdown, marking his best performance of the season. Despite the great moment, Noel's fantasy relevance remains minimal. Through five games, he's caught just five passes and played only 26% of the team's offensive snaps, ranking sixth among Texans wide receivers. Both Noel and fellow rookie Jayden Higgins saw season-high snap counts in Week 5, largely due to the blowout nature of the game that allowed Houston to rest their starters. With Christian Kirk's return solidifying the top of the depth chart along with Nico Collins, Noel's playing time and target share are unlikely to increase in the near future. He's a developmental piece for the future, but for now, he remains off the fantasy radar.
