Edmonton Oilers forward Mattias Janmark (undisclosed) is expected to miss 1-2 weeks of action at the start of the season and will begin the campaign on Injured Reserve. As a result of an undisclosed injury, Janmark will sit out at least three games. Janmark is entering his second season of a three-year, $4.35 million deal and has done a decent job as a bottom-six forward for the Oilers. He notched 18 points (two goals, 16 assists) in 80 contests during the 2024-25 campaign. Janmark had a horrible 3.9 shooting percentage last season and should be more of a goal threat in 2025-26, as he's a 10 percent career shooter.--Taavi Pailk
