Winnipeg Jets forward Cole Perfetti is under evaluation for a lower-body injury, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports. Perfetti was hurt during Friday's preseason matchup against the Calgary Flames. According to Jets head coach Scott Arniel, the injury "doesn't look great." With less than a week remaining before Winnipeg opens its regular-season campaign against the Dallas Stars, Perfetti's availability for the start of the season is in serious doubt. The 23-year-old had a productive season last year, recording 50 points with 18 goals and 32 assists over 82 games. If Perfetti is forced to miss time, Nino Niederreiter could have an opportunity to start the season in the top six, which would enhance his fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk
