Tyler Kleven Suffers Undisclosed Injury Against Maple Leafs
Ottawa Senators defenseman Tyler Kleven (undisclosed) was injured in Sunday's 4-3 loss in a preseason game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. According to Alex Adams of Sportsnet, Kleven left the bench after a collision early in the third period. The 23-year-old finished the action with one shot, two hits, and a minus-one rating across 13:20 of ice time. Early reports suggest that Kleven's exit was precautionary and that he isn't seriously hurt. Last season, the American rearguard had his first full year in the NHL, producing 10 points (four goals, six assists) in 79 games while blocking 97 shots and delivering 105 hits. Due to his limited offensive output, fantasy managers should overlook Kleven.
