Utah Mammoth center Logan Cooley (undisclosed) didn't finish Sunday's preseason game against the Colorado Avalanche. Per Brogan Houston of the Deseret News, Cooley left the action in the third period after a high hit from Avalanche forward Zakhar Bardakov. There were no updates on him after the game, and Cooley's exit might have been for precautionary reasons. The 21-year-old made a big leap during his sophomore campaign and could become a point-per-game player this year if he continues to improve. Cooley had 25 goals and 65 points in 75 games last season, finishing second on his team in both categories.--Taavi Pailk
