Kevin Hayes to Be Re-Evaluated in About a Month
Pittsburgh Penguins forward Kevin Hayes (upper body) will be re-evaluated in about a month, head coach Dan Muse announced on Friday. Hayes suffered an upper-body injury on the first day of training camp on Thursday. The veteran looks set to miss at least a couple of weeks of the regular season. The absence of Hayes may help Robby Fabbri land a contract with the Penguins after he joined the team for training camp on a professional tryout agreement. His injury also provides Pittsburgh's young talent with an opportunity to step up and prove themselves.
