Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 3:
Quinshon Judkins, RB, Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins made his long-awaited NFL debut in a Week 2 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Judkins was initially only expected to play a handful of snaps, but he ended up handling 10 carries for 61 yards while adding three receptions for another 10 yards.
The highly touted rookie's first start relegated veteran Browns running back Jerome Ford to a backup role. Quinshon Judkins should continue to see a larger role in the Cleveland backfield going forward after missing all of training camp.
As we've seen with other opponents through the first two weeks of the 2025 season, a Week 3 home matchup against the Green Bay Packers will be a tough test for the Cleveland offense. Even so, Judkins is looking like a solid, high-end RB3 heading into that contest.
Matthew Golden, WR, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden came into the 2025 season with a lot of hype, being the first wide receiver drafted by the team in the first round since Javon Walker in 2002. Through two games, Golden hasn't done much to satisfy the hype of fantasy managers, with just two receptions for 16 yards combined in his first two NFL games.
That said, Golden has been the recipient of several deep throws from quarterback Jordan Love that have just missed being huge plays. We'd be talking about Golden much favorably if those plays had gone the other way. Still, fantasy managers won't get points for almost scoring or almost catching the ball. One good sign for Golden is that his routes per dropback have risen from 57 percent in Week 1 to 68 percent in Week 2, so the Packers are getting him on the field a bit more.
In Week 3, the Packers head east to play the Cleveland Browns, where Golden could get on track to deliver some fantasy value. However, until we see it, he's got to be left on fantasy benches in the majority of fantasy formats.
Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. was once again a big part of Cleveland's offense in his second career game in the 41-17 Week 2 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Fannin tied for the team lead with five catches on five targets while going for 48 yards, which ranked second on the team, behind only receiver Jerry Jeudy.
Through two weeks in 2025, the 21-year-old Bowling Green product ranks first on the team in receptions (12), third in targets (14), and second in receiving yards (111). While the Browns' offense is among the worst in the league, it doesn't appear that Fannin is going anywhere in terms of usage.
The rookie tight end's target share could change if Cleveland eventually benches quarterback Joe Flacco, but Fannin should once again be a popular waiver-wire target this week if he's still available. He's currently rostered in 43% of Yahoo leagues.
Tyler Warren, TE, Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren continued to show he's a focal point of the team's offense in a 29-28 Week 2 win over the Denver Broncos. Warren caught four of his seven targets for 79 yards while taking one carry for no gain in the close win.
The Indianapolis Colts' rookie tight end is off to a torrid start to his NFL career, compiling 11 catches on 16 targets for 155 yards thus far. Warren is safe to treat as a solid, mid-range TE1 in fantasy leagues going forward.
Tyler Warren's explosion onto the fantasy football scene has been exciting to witness, and he will surely look to continue his hot start in Week 3's road matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Elic Ayomanor, WR, Tennessee Titans
Late in the first half of Sunday's loss to the Rams, Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward connected with receiver Elic Ayomanor for what would be the first touchdown of each of their careers. The pass came on a brilliant scrambling play by Ward that saw him throw the ball nearly 50 yards across the field as Ayomanor broke open in the endzone.
On a day when Ward threw for less than 150 yards, his developing chemistry with Ayomanor was apparent, as his fellow rookie tied for the team lead in targets and receptions, and had only one fewer yard than Calvin Ridley. The Titans have opened the year against two of the stingier defenses in the league in the Broncos and Rams.
Still, the Tennessee Titans' upstart offense has shown glimpses of breaking out, and with the WR2 role seemingly locked up, Elic Ayomanor is a priority add in all fantasy football league formats.
