3 Impact Fantasy Baseball Prospects To Stash - Bryce Eldridge, Kristian Campbell, Jhostynxon Garcia

Kristian Campbell - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Prospects

Three top fantasy baseball prospects - Bryce Eldridge, Kristian Campbell, Jhostynxon Garcia - that can make big impacts. These MLB prospects are waiver wire pickups or stashes.

Prospects can provide a much-needed impact to your fantasy team. This season, any managers who jumped ahead of their leagues and stashed first baseman Nick Kurtz or outfielder Chandler Simpson acquired a high-upside option for power and speed, respectively. On the pitching side, Chase Burns and Jacob Misiorowski have shown flashes of immense strikeout upside when on the bump.

In this piece, we will look at three of the hottest hitters at the Triple-A level and determine if they have a path to earn a call to the big leagues later in the second half.

Should those players be left on the waiver wire, or should fantasy managers add them before their breakout? Let's dive in!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Bryce Eldridge, 1B, San Francisco Giants

Current Level: AAA
Availability: 15% rostered
2025 AAA Stats: 37 G, .252/.318/.540, 4 2B, 12 HR, 0 SB

So Rafael Devers hasn't looked overly comfortable at first base for the Giants. Maybe he's better off just being a DH after all. Bryce Eldridge is the clear first baseman of the future in San Francisco, but the future should be coming sooner for the big slugger.

After initially struggling a bit at Triple-A, Eldridge has heated up over the last few weeks. He has hit 11 HRs with a 112 WRC+ at Triple-A after hitting seven HRs with a 150 WRC+ in about as many games at Double-A.

Like Spencer Jones, the tall slugger will probably always have some issues with strikeouts. However, he's never had a season in the minors where he struck out over 29 percent of the time, despite always being young for the level. If he can keep the K's in check, his power upside makes him a very exciting stash.

Fantasy managers should consider Eldridge as a solid stash option when looking for power in deeper 12+ team formats, for the time being. If he can continue to find his footing at Triple-A, he could soon be viewed as a must-stash.

Kristian Campbell, 2B/OF, Boston Red Sox

Current Level: AAA
Availability: 5% rostered
2025 MLB Stats: 67 G, .223/.319/.345, 10 2B, 6 HR, 2 SB

Similar to what the Cubs did with Matt Shaw, I felt that the Red Sox sent Kristian Campbell down to reset, and they'd call him up when he got hot and built his confidence back up. Well, Campbell is starting to get hot.

His full-season numbers at Triple-A don't wow you as he has a 127 WRC+ with four HRs and is striking out 27.6 percent of the time. However, this recent hot streak should be enough to get Campbell back in Boston soon. With Marcelo Mayer (wrist) injured, he should have opportunities to play at either second or first base upon returning.

While Campbell's numbers during his first stint in the majors this season were disappointing, given his massive prospect pedigree, he showed the upside he could provide in his first month as he had a 149 WRC+ through April. He'll make fantasy managers very happy if he can come close to that production in the final month of the season.

With Boston continuing to remain in the American League Wild Card race, Campbell could push them over the edge, especially since he has begun to pick up reps at first base. With Triston Casas out for the season, Campbell would provide much higher upside than Abraham Toro and Romy Gonzalez have produced there throughout most of the second half.

Given his positional flexibility, upside, and viable path to join the MLB roster as a first baseman, he is worth stashing in all 12-team formats during Week 20 of the fantasy baseball season.

Jhostynxon Garcia, OF, Boston Red Sox

Current Level: AAA
Availability: 5% rostered
2025 AAA Stats: 59 G, .303/.370/.581, 11 2B, 16 HR, 2 SB

Another prospect to keep an eye on in Triple-A Worcester right now is Jhostynxon Garcia, who has been mashing and also getting some work in at first base over the last week or so. The Red Sox are trying anyone and everyone at first base right now, so it's not out of the realm of possibility to see Garcia get the call to play first base for Boston down the stretch if they like how he looks there, or even to play outfield or if there happens to be an injury or they get tired of playing Masataka Yoshida.

If Garcia does get the call, there would be immediate intrigue for fantasy purposes given the skillset and how well he's been hitting in Triple-A this season. In 59 games at the level, Garcia is slashing a robust .303/.370/.581 with 11 doubles, 16 home runs, and a 12.7% barrel rate.

Over his last 33 games, Garcia has smacked 18 extra-base hits and 10 home runs with a .303/.363/.606 slash line. The password could be unlocked in Boston before the end of the season.

While he may have a difficult path given Boston's crowded outfield, his current offensive production could change their mind. If Boston remains in the heat of the playoff race, Garcia would likely get the call as he can provide high power upside at the plate. For the time being, he is worth stashing in deeper five-outfielder formats.
