Mookie Betts Remains Out on Monday
Mookie Betts (toe) remains out of the starting lineup ahead of Monday's game against the New York Mets. This marks the fourth straight game that Betts has missed due to a fractured toe. It sounds like Betts is doing better and is hopefully going to play on Tuesday. That being said, fantasy managers might only be without Betts for one more game. In the meantime, Hyeseong Kim will cover shortstop and bat ninth versus right-hander Paul Blackburn. The Dodgers are expected to re-evaluate Betts on Tuesday, so fantasy managers should check back for another update. UPDATE: Betts did some running at Dodger Stadium on Monday and is going through defensive drills in hopes of returning for Game 2 of the series versus the Mets on Tuesday.
