MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (5/25/25)

Julio Rodriguez - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB DFS Picks, Betting Picks

Andy's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Sunday, 5/25/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome Back, RotoBallers! Today, we have an action-packed nine-game Sunday slate (10 games on the FanDuel slate). While several of the top pitchers are not included in the main slate, such as Jesus Luzardo and Spencer Schwellenbach, we still have several intriguing options to highlight. On the hitting side, we will highlight the Boston Red Sox, who have a favorable matchup against the Baltimore Orioles.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/25/2025. I'll focus my picks on both sites' main slate starting at 1:35 P.M. EDT. The lineup picks showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays to help you build those winning MLB DFS lineups!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Robbie Ray - SFG at WSH ($10.1K DK; $10.4K FD)

Over his last five starts, Robbie Ray has tossed at least six innings in each outing and held a stellar 1.64 ERA with a 0.97 WHIP. During this stretch, the lefty has struck out 37 batters and allowed just nine walks (33 innings).

This afternoon, Ray will face the Washington Nationals, who have posted the 13th-highest strikeout rate against left-handed pitching. In addition, the Nationals have generated the ninth-lowest ISO against lefties.

Logan Henderson - MIL at PIT ($9.6K DK; $9.3K FD)

Logan Henderson has done nothing but impress over his first three MLB starts. Across 16 innings, the right-hander has picked up three victories while holding a 1.69 ERA with a 0.81 WHIP. He has shown elite control, serving up just four walks while striking out 23 hitters.

He will face the Pirates, who have posted the 13th-highest strikeout rate against right-handed pitching and have generated the lowest ISO.

Chris Bassitt - TOR at TB ($8.6K DK; $9.1K FD)

After a rough 22 1/3 innings stretch from April 22 through May 8, where the veteran right-hander held a high 6.04 ERA, he has begun to turn the corner. Over his last two starts, Bassitt has logged 11 2/3 innings to the tune of a near-perfect 0.77 ERA.

He will have an excellent opportunity to stay productive against the Rays, who have posted the sixth-highest strikeout rate against right-handed pitching this season.

Also Consider: Kris Bubic - KC at MIN ($9.8K DK; $10.6K FD), Bailey Ober - MIN vs. KC ($7.5K DK; $9.2K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Nick Sogard, 1B on DraftKings (2B/SS/3B on FanDuel) - BOS vs. Dean Kremer ($2.6K DK; $2.4K FD)

The 27-year-old has primarily seen time at first base but has also been deployed at the hot corner with Triston Casas (knee) and Alex Bregman (quadriceps) sidelined. Over his last seven games, Sogard has been swinging a hot bat, posting a .357/.379/.464 line with three doubles.

He should be in a prime position to stay hot at the plate against Baltimore right-hander Dean Kremer, who relies on his fastball. Sogard has generated an elite .876 xSLG when facing fastballs from right-handed pitching.

Update - Sogard is not in Sunday's starting lineup. Marcelo Mayer is a strong pivot option in the Boston lineup.

Cal Raleigh, C - SEA vs. Colton Gordon ($5.4K DK; $3.8K FD)

Entering Saturday, Cal Raleigh was riding a three-game multi-game hitting streak. During this stretch, the backstop went deep twice and added a double. Over his last 11 games, Raleigh has held a strong .317/.393/.756 line with five round-trippers.

Raleigh should be in a great position to stay productive, especially from a power perspective, facing Astros left-handed prospect Colton Gordon. During his first nine 2/3 MLB innings, Gordon has leaned on his fastball (40.5% usage) but has allowed six runs. When facing fastballs from lefties, Raleigh has generated an impressive .602 xSLG with a .238 ISO.

Rafael Devers, 3B - BOS vs. Dean Kremer ($4.9K DK; $4.1K FD)

Similar to Sogard, Devers has an excellent matchup against Kremer. When facing fastballs from righties, the slugger has posted a stellar .746 xSLG with a .508 xwOBA, which is the second-highest mark among Boston hitters, only behind Sogard.

Devers enters this contest as one of the most productive hitters in the sport. Entering Saturday, Devers has posted an incredible .455/.556/.932 line with three doubles and six home runs over his 12 games. He is a must-play this afternoon.

Also Consider: Kristian Campbell - 2B on DraftKings (2B/OF on FanDuel) ($3.9K DK; $2.8K FD), Matt McLain- 2B on DraftKings (2B/SS on FanDuel) ($4.7K DK; $3K FD), Josh Jung- 3B ($3.7K DK; $3.1K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Julio Rodriguez, OF - SEA vs. Colton Gordon ($5K DK; $3.3K FD)

Julio Rodriguez was held out of action for a game earlier this week due to a minor back injury, but was cleared to return Friday and Saturday. Over his last 10 games, the superstar outfielder has only gone hitless once and is beginning to find his swing. During this stretch, Rodriguez has posted an elite .500 SLG with two doubles, three home runs, and 12 RBI.

Like his teammate Raleigh, Rodriguez has produced well when facing fastballs from left-handed pitchers. In this matchup, Rodriguez has generated a stellar .841 xSLG with a .495 xwOBA. He is a top play facing Gordon.

Will Benson, OF - CIN vs. Ben Brown ($3.7K DK; $3K FD)

Will Benson has been one of the hottest hitters in the sport. Entering Saturday, Benson has gone deep five times and added three doubles over his last 11 contests. This afternoon, he has a great matchup against fastball-heavy pitcher Ben Brown.

Brown relies on his heater 58% of the time. This pitch has not found much success, as it has generated a hefty .558 xSLG. When facing right-handed fastballs, Benson has generated an elite .705 xSLG.

Wyatt Langford, OF - TEX vs. Davis Martin ($5.1K DK; $3.5K FD)

My final outfielder to highlight is Wyatt Langford. This afternoon, he will face Davis Martin, who enters this game holding a 5.14 xERA (16th percentile) and a .303 xBA (seventh percentile). His primary pitch, his fastball, has generated a low 15.1% put-away rate with a .394 xSLG.

When facing fastballs from righties, Langford has found great success, generating a .634 xSLG with a stellar .324 ISO. Entering Saturday, Langford held a strong .273/.360/.455 over his last six contests.

Also Consider: Randy Arozarena - OF ($4.3K DK; $3.2K FD), TJ Friedl - OF ($4.5K DK; $2.9K FD), Jackson Chourio- OF ($4.4K DK; $3K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

Boston Red Sox vs. Dean Kremer (BAL)

Kremer has held a high 5.00 ERA with a 1.33 WHIP over his last six outings. During this stretch, Kremer has struck out just 27 batters across 36 innings while serving up 11 free passes. Under the hood, he has generated a 4.54 xERA (27th percentile) and a .270 xBA (20th percentile)

His primary pitch, his fastball, has generated a high .497 xSLG with a .362 xwOBA.

Top Stack - Devers, Sogard, Campbell, Abreu

Seattle Mariners vs. Colton Gordon (SEA)

Gordon has made his first two MLB starts earlier this season and logged nine 2/3 innings to the tune of a 5.59 ERA. He struck out 10 batters and struggled to keep the ball in the yard, allowing two round-trippers.

Under the hood, Gordon generated a hefty 12.9% barrel rate with a low 35.5% ground-ball rate. As noted above in the hitter matchps, he has leaned on his fastball, which currently holds a modest .556 SLG and a .378 wOBA.

Top Stack - Rodriguez, Raleigh, Polanco, Arozarena

Cincinnati Reds vs. Ben Brown (CHC)

Brown has shown upside at times this season, but has been hard to trust. Over his last three starts, the right-hander has posted a modest 6.60 ERA with three home runs allowed in just 15 innings of work. As mentioned above, when discussing Benson, Brown's primary pitch (his fastball) has generated a poor .558 xSLG, which does not set him up for success.

In addition, he currently sits in the 34th and 33rd percentile in xERA and xBA, respectively. Playing in a hitter's paradise in Cincinnati, the Reds are a strong team to target as a stack.

Top Stack - Benson, McLain, Wynns, Friedl, De La Cruz

Note: The Yankees are also a top stack, but they are only featured on the main slate on FanDuel.
