Edmonton Oilers center Mattias Janmark (illness) did not practice on Wednesday, leaving his status uncertain for Thursday's matchup against the New Jersey Devils. According to Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch, Janmark missed the practice session due to an illness. Janmark has been an inconsistent offensive contributor for the Oilers in 2024-25. In 63 games, he has recorded two goals and 17 points with a career-low shooting percentage of 5.0. If Janmark isn't in game shape on Thursday, Kasperi Kapanen is likely to rejoin the lineup. Kapanen has also been unreliable offensively, going seven straight appearances without scoring a point. So far this season, he has accumulated six goals and five assists in 49 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
