Ottawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot (illness) exited Wednesday's contest against the Chicago Blackhawks early. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next contest on Saturday afternoon against the New York Rangers. He was only able to log 14 minutes of ice time before exiting. He did not get on the scoresheet but added one shot on goal and one blocked shot. If Chabot were to sit out on Saturday, Jacob Bernard-Docker would draw into the starting lineup. Before Wednesday's contest, Chabo tallied 10 points (two goals, eight helpers) over his last 12 contests. During this stretch he tallied 37 shots on goal and 20 blocked shots. If Chabot were to miss time, fantasy managers should expect Jake Sanderson to have an even larger role on the power-play.--Andy Smith
