Connor found the back of the net for the 31st time this season in the second period. He beat Ottawa netminder Linus Ullmark on a wrist shot. Then, later in the final frame, Connor would add the primary helper on Mark Scheifele's empty-netter. He also logged two shots on goal with one hit and a +2 rating during this game. This outing also extended his point streak to four games. During this stretch, he has tallied six points (five helpers) with a +5 rating. Over his last nine games, the 28-year-old has found the back of the net five times and added eight helpers.
