New York Rangers left wing Chris Kreider (upper body) is viewed as a game-time decision for Tuesday's contest against the New York Islanders. Kreider was a late scratch prior to Sunday's contest against the Pittsburgh Penguins. However, the 33-year-old was able to participate in Tuesday's morning skate, which is a positive sign. When Kreider was scratched before Sunday's contest, Arthur Kaliyev drew into the starting lineup. If Kreider is unable to play on Tuesday, Kaliyev or Jimmy Vesey will take Kreider's spot in the lineup. Across 48 games this season, Kreider has scored just 17 goals and added four helpers. He has logged 60 hits with a poor -6 rating. If Kreider is cleared to return, he will likely return to the third unit and carry little fantasy value.--Andy Smith
