NFL Quarterbacks Ranked By Most Super Bowl Wins - All Starting QBs With Multiple Rings

tom brady fantasy football rankings news NFL DFS lineup picks

RotoBaller's list of the quarterbacks with the most Super Bowl wins in NFL history. Which quarterbacks have at least two Super Bowl victories?

tom brady fantasy football rankings news NFL DFS lineup picks

1. Tom Brady - Seven Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX, XLIX, LI, LII, LV

Everyone knows Tom Brady tops this list, and his Super Bowl LV victory with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers might have been his most impressive. Many wondered if head coach Bill Belichick had more to do with the Patriots’ success, but Brady proved he could get it done with another organization.

T-2. Joe Montana - Four Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: XVI, XIX, XXIII, XXIV

Joe Montana was viewed as the greatest of all time long before superstars like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Patrick Mahomes entered the NFL. Montana comes in at No. 3 or No. 4 on a ton of “G.O.A.T” lists these days, but he can still say he has as many or more Super Bowl titles as any QB not named Brady.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS LOGO - NFL, STOCK

T-2. Terry Bradshaw - Four Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: IX, X, XIII, XIV

Terry Bradshaw is a headliner for one of the most successful NFL franchises of all time. He played in an era where passing yards and touchdowns were much more difficult to come by, yet he still holds the record for the most career yards per pass attempt in Super Bowl appearances (11.1).

Patrick Mahomes - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL DFS

T-4. Patrick Mahomes - Three Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: LIV, LVII, LVIII

Patrick Mahomes looked like he was set to catch Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana in Super Bowl rings before the Philadelphia Eagles bullied the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday. However, the 29-year-old has never been eliminated from the playoffs before the AFC title game heading into his eighth year as a starter. He has plenty of time to make a run of Brady’s seven titles, but it is far from a given.

DALLAS COWBOYS LOGO - NFL, STOCK

T-4. Troy Aikman - Three Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: XXVII, XXVIII, XXX

Troy Aikman does not get as much credit as he should for the three Cowboys titles in the 1990s. Sure, they had a slew of stars such as Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, Larry Allen, and Charles Haley, but Aikman threw 17 touchdowns to just four interceptions in the three playoff runs that were capped off by Lombardi Trophies. He isn’t an all-time great, but he was a key in building the dynasty in Dallas.

NEW YORK GIANTS LOGO - NFL, STOCK

T-6. Eli Manning - Two Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: XLII, XLVI

Eli Manning finished his career with a 117-117 regular-season record, but his unpredictable runs to Super Bowl titles will cement him as an NFL legend. Manning saved his best performances for postseason action and prevented Tom Brady from winning a title on two occasions. While Manning is not a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer, he’s sure to get a gold jacket at some point in the near future. He’s one of just six players in NFL history with multiple Super Bowl MVPs.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS LOGO - NFL, STOCK

T-6. Peyton Manning - Two Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: XLI, 50

Peyton Manning is unquestionably one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, and he was the first starting QB in NFL history to win a Super Bowl with two franchises. He led the Colts out of the dark days as a franchise and had Indianapolis in the postseason every year before being released ahead of the 2012 season. In Denver, he had his best season as a pro (2013) and finished his career with a Super Bowl title against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. Manning played in four Super Bowls with four different head coaches.

T-6. Ben Roethlisberger - Two Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: XL, XLIII

Ben Roethlisberger compiled a 13-0 record as a rookie, setting the stage for winning to come in Pittsburgh. He captured Super Bowl rings in his second and fifth years with the franchise before coming up just short in his seventh year at the helm. Many believed the Steelers would be back in the Big Game at least once before he retired, but that did not happen. Either way, he further cemented the Steelers as one of the NFL’s elite franchises.

Denver Broncos - NFL Logo Stock Image

T-6. John Elway - Two Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: XXXII, XXXIII

John Elway’s career is a cautionary tale to not “write off” a quarterback until their career is over. Elway was known for “not being able to win the big one” for most of his career. He won zero Super Bowls through the first 14 years of his career before hoisting the Lombardi twice in his final two NFL campaigns.

GREEN BAY PACKERS LOGO - NFL, STOCK

T-6. Bart Starr - Two Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: I, II

Is Bart Starr the original G.O.A.T? Since he won the first two Super Bowls, it’s hard to argue against it. Many of the great quarterbacks who played in the early NFL have poor passing numbers when compared to today’s top players, but Starr had a 15-3 touchdown-to-interception ratio in his postseason career. That’s notable for the era in which he played.

MIAMI DOLPHINS LOGO - NFL, STOCK

T-6. Bob Griese - Two Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: VII, VIII

The Dolphins have not found much success since their Super Bowl titles in the early 1970s, but the 1972 Dolphins remain the only team in NFL history to go undefeated through the Super Bowl. Quarterback Bob Griese missed a significant chunk of that season, but he came back in time for the AFC Championship and win over the Redskins in Super Bowl VII. He followed that up with a 12-1 record and another title the next season.

DALLAS COWBOYS LOGO - NFL, STOCK

T-6. Roger Staubach - Two Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: VI, XII

Navy quarterback Roger Staubach was taken in the 10th round of the 1964 NFL Draft but did not make his debut until 1968. He did not earn the full-time starting duties for “America’s Team” until 1971, and that was the year the franchise took home its first Super Bowl. Staubach won another title six years later, and his 85-29 overall record makes him one of the best winners in NFL history.

Las Vegas Raiders - NFL LOGO, STOCK

T-6. Jim Plunkett - Two Super Bowls

Super Bowl Wins: XV, XVIII

It has been a while since the Silver and Black competed for any kind of championship, so let’s talk about Jim Plunkett’s success in the 1980s with the Raiders. Plunkett had a mediocre career with the Patriots and 49ers before landing in Oakland, and he ultimately delivered a title for both the Oakland and Los Angeles Raiders.
