2025 Fantasy Baseball First Base Rankings: Top 50 - Roto Leagues (January Updates)

Bryce Harper - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

RotoBaller's 2025 fantasy baseball first base rankings for roto leagues (January updates). Use our tiered 1B rankings to win your fantasy baseball drafts.

At RotoBaller HQ, we are back with more fantasy baseball rankings. After publishing pitchers and catchers, we shift our focus to the infield and start with our MLB team's 2025 fantasy baseball first base rankings and tiers for 5x5 mixed roto leagues. The position in 2025 has some star power with Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bryce Harper, and Freddie Freeman, but the talent pool can quickly go downhill after the first few tiers of first basemen are off the draft board. So who are the other names to know?

Pete Alonso, who smashed 34 homers last year and 157 long balls combined in the previous four seasons, is still a free agent and in the top five of our initial first base ranks. Even in a down year, Matt Olson still crushed 29 home runs after hitting 54 in 2023. Christian Walker is now in Houston after averaging 31 homers per season from 2022-2024. Fantasy managers are waiting for Boston Red Sox slugger Triston Casas to stay healthy and finally break out in 2025. All the tools are there for Casas to take the next step, but injuries limited him to 63 games last season.

The first base rankings below are specifically designed for traditional 5x5 Roto Mixed Leagues (click here for points leagues, dynasty leagues, and prospect rankings). We also have many other tools and resources to help you win in 2025. We've worked hard to keep track of all off-season moves to get you covered for your fantasy baseball drafts with our 2025 Fantasy Baseball Draft Kit. It includes various fantasy baseball tools and exclusive articles/projections for different formats.
