Arizona Cardinals - Kyler Murray
Kyler Murray led the Cardinals to a modest 8-9 record, falling just short of a playoff berth. Through 17 games, Murray threw for 3,851 yards and added 572 on the ground. He scored 26 total touchdowns but threw a hefty 11 interceptions. This was the first time since the 2021 season he turned the ball over at least ten times. He only eclipsed the 300-passing-yard mark twice, which was the lowest mark of his career.
GRADE: C

Atlanta Falcons - Kirk Cousins
After averaging just 216 yards in the first four weeks, Cousins flipped the switch and began to find his footing. During Weeks 6 through 10, Cousins averaged 252.2 yards per game and threw five scores. Unfortunately, Cousins regressed during the following four games and eventually lost his job to rookie Michael Penix Jr. While he flashed upside at times, the veteran was not consistent.
GRADE: D

Baltimore Ravens - Lamar Jackson
After winning the 2023 MVP Award, Jackson put up a stellar encore performance this season and is one of the top favorites to win this award again. Through 17 games, Jackson tallied 4,172 passing and 915 rushing yards, with 45 total scores. To make this even more impressive, he threw just four interceptions. Jackson is one of the best at his position and led the Ravens to another AFC North title.
GRADE: A+

Buffalo Bills - Josh Allen
Despite losing his top wideout Steffon Diggs, Josh Allen played at an MVP level all season. Despite a lower yardage output (3,731 yards), he scored an impressive 42 total touchdowns, just two less than the previous season. However, Allen improvised significantly when it came to his decision-making. He threw a career-low six interceptions compared to the 18 he threw in 2023.
GRADE: A+

Carolina Panthers - Bryce Young
After throwing three interceptions and averaging a mere 122.5 passing yards over the first two games, Young spent five games on the bench. Once he returned to the field in Week 8, Young began to see steady improvement throughout the season. Over the final three weeks, Young posted a 7:0 TD:INT ratio while averaging just under 240 total yards per game. While his production has not been worthy of typical first-overall pick production, he is slowly improving and could be due for a year-three breakout.
GRADE: B

Chicago Bears - Caleb Williams
The top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft had a tough rookie season. The Bears shook up the coaching staff multiple times throughout the season, which hindered his progress. In addition, his offensive line allowed the most sacks in football. Despite this, Williams held a 20:6 TD:INT ratio while averaging 208.8 passing yards per game. It was a disappointing season, but better days should be ahead, given the circumstances.
GRADE: C

Cincinnati Bengals - Joe Burrow
Despite falling just short of a playoff birth, Joe Burrow enjoyed the best statistical season of his career. The LSU product threw an eye-catching 4,918 yards with a 43:9 TD:INT ratio. He added 201 yards and two scores on the ground. He tallied at least 300 yards in seven contests and at least three scores in ten. If the Bengals can improve their defense in the offseason, expect them to return to Super Bowl contenders in 2025.
GRADE: A

Cleveland Browns - Deshaun Watson
Deshaun Watson’s disastrous tenure in Cleveland continued in the 2024 season. Through seven games, Watson averaged just 164 passing yards per game with a poor 5:3 TD:INT ratio. He never eclipsed 200 yards passing in a single contest. His season was cut short when he ruptured his Achilles during their Week 7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Watson will likely be sidelined through most of 2025 and may not start another game in his career.
GRADE: F

Cleveland Browns - Jameis Winston
Once Deshaun Watson (Achilles) was placed on the injured reserve, Jameis Winston took over starting during Weeks 8 through 15. During this seven-game stint, Winston averaged an impressive 291.1 passing yards per game and tallied 13 touchdowns. However, he struggled with his decision-making as he threw 12 interceptions, which put the team in difficult spots as he won just two of his starts.
GRADE: C-

Dallas Cowboys - Dak Prescott
Dak Prescott posted an underwhelming 3-4 record across his seven full games before suffering a season-ending hamstring injury during their Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. During this seven-game stretch, Prescott averaged a solid 263.6 passing yards and scored 11 touchdowns with a hefty eight interceptions. While he put points on the board, his decision-making was quite poor.
GRADE: C

Dallas Cowboys - Cooper Rush
Cooper Rush saw most of the starts once Dak Prescott was sidelined. Across his eight starts, Rush posted a solid 4-4 record and kept the Cowboys afloat in the layoff picture through December. During this stint, he averaged 209.5 passing yards per game but posted a sharp 11:4 TD:INT ratio. During Weeks 11 through 16, Rush was very productive with a 10:2 TD:INT and a solid 247.5 yards per game.
GRADE: C+

Denver Broncos - Bo Nix
The Oregon product started his rookie campaign on a low note, averaging just 178 passing yards with a 5:5 TD:INT ratio across his first seven contests. However, during the final ten games of the regular season, Nix averaged a strong 252.9 passing yards per game and scored 25 total touchdowns with just seven interceptions. This strong play down the stretch was able to secure Denver a spot in the postseason. Nix is a budding star who showed consistent improvement each week.
GRADE: A-

Detroit Lions - Jared Goff
Jared Goff was the conductor of the league’s best offensive unit. Goff threw for a career-best 4,629 yards and 37 TDs en route to leading Detroit to the top seed in the NFC. However, he threw 12 interceptions for the second-straight season. Goff tallied at least 300 passing yards and three passing scores in seven games. Goff should continue to flourish in the Detroit offense.
GRADE: A

Green Bay Packers - Jordan Love
After an impressive 2023 season, Love took a step back in 2024. While the former first-round selection did deal with numerous lingering injuries throughout the season, his decline was noticeable. He threw for 3,389 yards with a 25:11 TD:INT ratio, compared to the impressive 4,159 yards and 32:11 TD:INT he held in 2023. During the final five games of the season, Love averaged a poor 174.2 yards per game and lost his last two games, dropping Green Bay to the No.7 seed in the NFC.
GRADE: C+

Houston Texans - C.J. Stroud
The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year got out to a strong start as he went 5-1 while averaging 262.8 passing yards with a 10:4 TD:INT ratio through his first six games of the season. However, during his final 11 games, Stroud averaged just 195.5 passing yards per game and posted an underwhelming 10:8 TD:INT ratio. Overall, he threw seven more interceptions and 400 fewer yards than he did in his rookie season. Stroud will look to rebound in his third season.
GRADE: C

Indianapolis Colts - Anthony Richardson
After an injury-riddled rookie season, Richardson was named the starting QB to open the 2024 season. Like his rookie season, Richardson flashed elite upside at times but struggled to consistently produce. Richardson only logged ten full games this season due to injuries and being benched for a short window. During these games, the Flordia product posted an 8:12 TD:INT ratio and averaged just 174 passing yards per game.
GRADE: D-

Jacksonville Jaguars - Trevor Lawrence
The entire 2024 Jacksonville Jaguars were a disaster in 2024. The former No.1 overall pick could not overcome his team’s shortcomings, as he averaged just 22.7 passing yards per game across nine games. He tallied 14 total touchdowns with six interceptions and won just two games. Lawrence spent the back half of the season on the bench due to a shoulder injury and a concussion.
GRADE: C-

Kansas City Chiefs - Patrick Mahomes
Despite posting the worst statistics of his career, Mahomes led the Chiefs to the No.1 seed in the conference and a 15-1 record, which is why he still earned an excellent grade (he rested during Week 18). During the first ten games, Mahomes posted a poor 15:11 TD:INT ratio. However, over the final seven weeks of the season, Mahomes did not turn the ball over and scored 13 times.
GRADE: A-

Las Vegas Raiders - Gardner Minshew
Gardner Minshew opened the season as the Raiders QB1 but struggled as he averaged just 201.3 passing yards per game and posted a poor 9:10 TD:INT ratio. He won just two of his ten starts before suffering a season-ending collarbone injury during Week 12. This was Minshew’s first season throwing double-digit interceptions. Given his poor showing, he will likely spend most of the 2025 as a No.2 option.
GRADE: D-

Las Vegas Raiders - Aidan O'Connell
Aidan O’Connell opened the season as the No.2 option behind Gardner Minshew but spent most of the second half as the starter in relief of Minchsew. During Weeks 13 through 18 (did not play in Week 15) O’Connell averaged 231.4 passing yards and scored seven touchdowns. He threw just two interceptions. O’Connell threw for at least 200 yards in four of these five games. He got in the win column in two of these contests.
GRADE: C-

Los Angeles Chargers - Justin Herbert
After a disappointing 2023 season, Justin Herbert and the Chargers enjoyed a fantastic bounce-back, credited to their new head coach, Jim Harbaugh. Herbert threw for 3,870 yards with a 20:3 TD:INT ratio (22 total TDs) and posted an 11-6 record. The Oregon product became more comfortable in the Harbaugh system as the season went on. After throwing for just 209.9 yards during the first nine weeks, Herbert tallied over 260 total yards per game over the final eight.
GRADE: B+

Los Angeles Rams - Matthew Stafford
Matthew Stafford had an up-and-down 2024 campaign. Much of this was due to being without his top wideouts, Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp, for most of the first half of the campaign. During the first six weeks, Stafford averaged just 232 passing yards per game with just three total passing scores. However, over the final ten, Stafford threw 17 scores and tallied at least 275 yards in five games en route to clinching a wild card.
GRADE: B-

Miami Dolphins - Tua Tagovailoa
After throwing for 348 yards in the season-opener, Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion during their Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Tagovailoa would return in Week 8 and perform at an elite level. During weeks 8 through 14, the Alabama product averaged an impressive 281.9 passing yards per game with a 15:1 TD:INT ratio. However, Tagovailoa averaged just 205 passing yards during Weeks 15 and 16 and suffered a season-ending hip injury. When healthy, Tagovailoa is a borderline elite quarterback, but unfortunately, he is rarely healthy during an entire season.
GRADE: B

Minnesota Vikings - Sam Darnold
Did anyone see that coming? After drafting J.J. McCarthy in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Darnold was seen as an afterthought. However, after McCarthy suffered a season-ending injury before Week 1, Darnold was given full reign of QB1 duties and did not disappoint. He threw for a career-best 4,319 yards with a 35:12 TD:INT ratio en route to leading Minnoestoa to a 14-win season.
GRADE: A

New England Patriots - Drake Maye
The UNC product spent the first five weeks on the bench but performed well when he took over starting duties. Over his 11 games, Maye scored 17 total touchdowns and averaged 204.9 passing yards and 37.2 rushing yards per game. He also threw ten interceptions. While his production in the box score was not overly impressive, he played behind a poor offensive line and lacked a true WR1. Despite this, he flashed high upside and will look to enjoy a strong sophomore campaign.
GRADE: C

New Orleans Saints - Derek Carr
Derek Carr enjoyed an impressive start to the season as he threw for 443 yards with six total touchdowns over the first two weeks. However, over his final eight games of the season, Carr averaged just 212.8 yards per game and held a modest 10:4 TD:INT ratio. Carr would end the season early with a hand injury and a 5-5 record.
GRADE: C

New Orleans Saints - Spencer Rattler
The fifth-round rookie typically got the call when Derek Carr was banged up throughout the season. Over seven games, Rattler averaged a poor 188.1 passing yards per game and added 21 rushing yards per game. He held a poor 4:5 TD:INT ratio. While he played with an injured pass-catching room (both Chirs Olave and Rashid Shaheed were sidelined for most of his starts), he went through severe growing pains.
GRADE: F

New York Giants - Daniel Jones
Daniel Jones’ tenure in New York ended on a poor note. Across the first ten games of the season, Jones won just two games and averaged 207 passing yards per game. He added 26.5 rushing yards per game and scored just ten total touchdowns. He struggled with decision-making as he threw seven interceptions and lost two fumbles. Following his Week 10 loss, Jones was cut and picked up by the Vikings.
GRADE: F

New York Giants - Drew Lock
Drew Lock started five of the final six games of the regular season for New York following Daniel Jones’ release and Tommy DeVitto’s injuries. Across five games, Lock posted a 1-4 record and averaged just 212.4 passing yards per game. He tallied eight touchdowns (six passing, two rushing) but threw five interceptions. His lone victory came in demanding fashion in Week 17 as he threw for over 300 yards with five touchdowns.
GRADE: D

New York Jets - Aaron Rodgers
After tearing his Achilles during the opening week of the 2023 campaign, Rodgers faced an uphill battle to return to the field in 2024 as a 41-year-old quarterback. However, Rodgers was able to start all 17 games for the Jets but unfortunately had mixed results. He averaged just 229.5 passing yards per game with a 28:11 TD:INT ratio. However, he found his footing down the stretch as he averaged a solid 254 passing yards per game over the final five weeks. This strong finish suggests he may have some gas left in the tank for 2025.
GRADE: C+

Philadelphia Eagles - Jalen Hurts
While the Philadelphia offense centered around superstar running back Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts was sharp when he had to be. Following their Week 4 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Hurts led the Eagles to a stellar ten-game winning streak. Over this stretch, Hurts scored 26 total touchdowns and threw just one intception. He then suffered a concussion during Week 16 and did not return over the final two weeks of the regular season to prepare for the playoffs.
GRADE: A

Pittsburgh Steelers - Russell Wilson
After spending the first six weeks on the bench due to a calf injury, Russell Wilson started his Pittsburgh tenure by winning five out of his first six games. During this span, he averaged an impressive 271 passing yards per game with a 10:3 TD:INT ratio. Wilson took a step back over the final five games of the regular season as he averaged only 171.2 yards per game. Despite the drop in production, he still led the Steelers to a playoff spot.
GRADE: B-

Pittsburgh Steelers - Justin Fields
Justin Fields was given the first start of the season with Russell Wilson sidelined with a calf injury. Fields remained in this role through the first six weeks of the season. During this span, he held a 3-3 record and averaged just over 220 total yards per game. He found the end zone ten times and threw just one interception. While he sat on the bench for the remainder of the season, he may have played well enough to earn a starting job elsewhere.
GRADE: C+

San Francisco 49ers - Brock Purdy
The 49ers had significant injuries on the offensive side of the ball, which hindered Brock Purdy’s production. Through 15 games, he threw for 3,864 yards with a 20:12 TD:INT and added five scores on the ground. His 12 interceptions was a career-high. Even with the 49ers out of playoff contention, Purdy averaged an impressive 289.3 passing yards per game over the season’s final four weeks. With a healthy 49ers offense in 2025, expect Purdy to return to form.
GRADE: B-

Seattle Seahawks - Geno Smith
Geno Smith threw for a career-high 4,320 passing yards but could not lead Seattle to the postseason. He tallied 23 total TDs (21 passing, two rushing) but threw 15 interceptions, which was the second-highest total of his career, only less than the 21 he threw in his rookie campaign. Smith struggled to find consistency this season as he threw for over 300 yards in just five games but fell under 220 in six.
GRADE: C

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Baker Mayfield
Baker Mayfield enjoyed the best season of his career as he tallied 4,500 passing yards and 378 rushing yards. He tallied an incredible 44 total touchdowns but threw a hefty 16 interceptions. His 41 passing scores were 13 more than his previous career-high (28 in 2023). Mayfield threw at least one passing score in all but one game and tallied at least three in nine. He led the Buccaneers to another NFC South title with a 10-7 record.
GRADE: A

Tennessee Titans - Will Levis
Will Levis opened the season as the QB1 in Tennessee but struggled early as he averaged a poor 139.8 passing yards per game over the first five games. During this stretch, he threw seven interceptions. After sitting out for three games, he returned to the top of the depth chart but continued to struggle as he posted a 7:5 TD:INT ratio during his next six contests. His poor decision-making will make it difficult for the Titans to give him another chance in 2025.
GRADE: F

Tennessee Titans - Mason Rudolph
Mason Rudolph was given six starts during the 2024 season in favor of Will Levis. He won just two games and averaged an underwhelming 229.2 passing yards per game. He tallied ten total touchdowns but threw nine interceptions. Like Levis, he struggled to limit turnovers but showed slightly more consistency as a passer, throwing at least one passing score in each game.
GRADE: D

Washington Commanders - Jayden Daniels
Jayden Daniels led the Commanders to 11 victories in the season and even brought them their first playoff victory in over 19 seasons. Through 15 full regular season games, Daniels averaged just under 300 total yards per game with 31 total scores. Daniels is not only the face of the franchise but could become the future face of the league. He is the top pick to capture Offensive Rookie of the Year and will likely be in the MVP race for the next decade.
GRADE: A+
