Twins Expected to Keep Joe Ryan
Joe Ryan, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports. Ryan has been exceptional for the Twins in 2025, being the anchor for their struggling rotation with Pablo Lopez (shoulder) getting injured on June 3 and Bailey Ober (hip) struggling to the tune of a 5.28 ERA. Ryan has been the answer to weathering the storm, with his 2.63 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and 132/23 K/BB in 116.1 innings pitched. With the Detroit Tigers running away with the AL Central, the Twins (11.5 games back) have become potential sellers at the deadline, with Ryan being the main headline. It appears that the Twins will entertain calls, but unless they get an offer that blows them away, it seems that Ryan will stay in Minnesota for the time being. Although the AL Central looks out of reach, the Twins are five games behind in the Wild Card race.
