Jared Goff finishing second among qualified quarterbacks in yards per attempt (8.59). However, Goff did most of his work with short-area targets. His 6.33-yard average depth of target was 35th out of 39 quarterbacks with at least 250 plays. An increase in downfield targets would figure to help Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams, who led the team with an 11.40-yard ADOT. Conversely, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (7.67-yard ADOT) and tight end Sam LaPorta (6.99-yard ADOT) could be negatively impacted.
