Fantasy Football Injury Reports For Week 12 (Friday Updates): Mike Evans, Isiah Pacheco, Tyreek Hill, George Kittle, CeeDee Lamb, Jalen Hurts, Calvin Ridley, more

Mike Evans - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Fantasy football injury updates and injury reports for RB, WR, TE, QB for Week 12 (2024), as of 11/22, including Mike Evans, Isiah Pacheco, Tyreek Hill, George Kittle, CeeDee Lamb, Jalen Hurts, Calvin Ridley.

It's now Friday of Week 12, meaning the final injury reports for all teams have been released. We now have the official designations of each player dealing with injuries ahead of their Week 12 contests, meaning we have the best information we'll have until unofficial speculative reports and final active/inactive lists are released.

There are a ton of key fantasy football contributors suffering from a variety of ailments, and fantasy managers who have any of these players on their team should stay updated on their situations and be ready in case they become surprise inactives.

Let's break down the most notable bits from all the teams' injury reports ahead of Week 12 of NFL action.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Evans (hamstring) is officially listed as "Questionable" on the Bucs' final injury report for Week 12. He re-aggravated a pre-existing hamstring injury in Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens on a diving attempt at a touchdown catch.

He immediately grabbed his hamstring after falling down, and it looked like a pretty severe strain. It's understandable that he's been out of commission for four weeks now. The team hasn't confirmed he'll play yet, so fantasy managers should have a backup plan. They'll face a New York Giants team that just benched and then released their starting quarterback, Daniel Jones.

While the Bucs are 4-6, they'll face quarterback Tommy Devito leading a 2-8 team that's in disarray. It's not worth the risk of bringing Evans back if there's a chance he'll re-injure his hammy. Bucs head coach Todd Bowles indicated that he's hopefulthat No. 13 will take the field -- he didn't exactly use encouraging verbiage.

We just don't know what will happen yet, but neither outcome should surprise fantasy managers. Prepare yourselves with a backup plan in case he can't go. He logged limited (Wednesday), full (Thursday), and limited (Friday) practices this week. The downgrade for Friday is concerning. The author of this article personally believes he's less likely to play.

Isiah Pacheco, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

Pacheco (fibula), unfortunately, has been ruled out of KC's Week 12 contest against the Carolina Panthers. Kareem Hunt managers rejoice -- you'll get another week of great RB production in a dream matchup against one of the worst run-stopping defenses in the league.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid indicated as much to reporters on Friday. Supposedly, he's healthy enough to go. We've seen situations before where players are supposedly ready, but end up sitting out one, then two weeks. There's a short week ahead, so there's a chance Pacheco could miss that game, too.

Luckily, Reid is no Kyle Shanahan, who absolutely cannot be trusted at all when it comes to injury news because he's a liar. The State Farm commercial star coach is much more straightforward. We should expect the third-year pro back to play in Week 13.

Tyreek Hill, WR, Miami Dolphins

Hill (wrist) continues to grapple with the torn ligament in his wrist that was picked up during a traffic stop as he was roughed up by police. It was a bizarre scenario, but it shouldn't affect his ability to play this week. He carries no injury designation for Week 12.

He logged two limited and one full practice. He'll likely be load-managed for the rest of the season. The ailment isn't going anywhere. He's having a down season, so it could be affecting his ability to play, but there's no way of knowing for sure.

The issue shouldn't cause his production to dip, though it's already much lower than expected this season. Expect a season full of limited practices and presence on the injury report during the coming weeks.

George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers

Earlier in the week, Kittle (hamstring) expressed that he believed he would play in the 49ers Week 12 game, and he now has no designation on the team's injury report. He's good to go. He may take a production hit, as hamstring injuries are difficult to deal with, though.

The 31-year-old is known for his toughness and playing through multiple gnarly injuries throughout his career, but hammy issues aren't just a matter of pain tolerance. It could affect his ability to run routes significantly. San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan would have no problem trotting him out mainly as a blocker, either.

His fantasy value is likely significantly diminished when running back Christian McCaffrey is on the field. Kittle was having an anomalously good year, easily exceeding his 2023 target pace. In CMC's first game back, the TE had just four targets, though.

Brock Purdy, QB, San Francisco 49ers

We got to taste another Kyle Shanahan classic -- the coach expressed optimism that Purdy (hamstring) would play on Sunday. That's not happening. Purdy has been ruled out with a right shoulder injury. It was initially described as just "soreness" (thanks Kyle). It was more than that.

Yeah... you don't hold out your quarterback for "rest" when you're 4-5 and desperately clawing for a playoff spot. Shanny's fibs strike again. We really will have no idea when Purdy can return until well into the lead-up to Week 13.

CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys

Lamb (back/foot) will be good to go. He gets his veteran rest days. His back issue may just be from him carrying the team. The foot problem could be a lingering issue that needs management.

No news is good news. There haven't been any reports that anything he's suffering from is serious. The bigger issue is his starting quarterback is Cooper Rush now. Fire up Lamb as if he were healthy, though. He's probably fine.

Jalen Hurts, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

Hurts (ankle) continues to take limited practices and appears on injury reports due to an ankle injury but he's fine. The Eagles are smartly load-managing his practices. He will play without any restrictions. The NFL is hard on players' bodies, and running quarterbacks can take a beating.

Maybe Philly's head coach, Nick Sirianni, is the anti-Kyle Shanahan because he accidentally revealed Hurts' injury to the media back in early November.

It really was rest but for a good reason. "She'll be right", as the Aussies say.

Calvin Ridley, WR, Tennessee Titans

This one isn't really an injury, per se. Ridley (illness) had some kind of illness earlier in the week but will be good to go. It's not known how sick he is, so it could absolutely affect his play.

He missed practice on Wednesday but practiced fully on Thursday and Friday and has no injury designation heading into Week 12. He will play.

Josh Jacobs, RB, Green Bay Packers

Jacobs (quadricep, calf) has been dealing with multiple injuries throughout the season. This particular quad injury has been there for a while, and he's also dealing with a calf issue. He'll be fine, though. Jacobs tends to appear on injury reports often, but he plays through his ailments typically.

He wasn't on the injury report Friday, and he will take the field against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. Fire him up if you have him on any of your rosters. Expect a full workload.

Sam Darnold, QB, Minnesota Vikings

Darnold (foot) is another player you won't have to worry about. He's been cleared for action on Sunday and will play without restrictions.

NFL.com (a pretty reliable source) stated that Darnold was removed from the injury report and will play against the Bears. There's nothing to be concerned with here. He's probably dealing with a nagging foot issue that's aided by rest. In the future, it may become more of an issue, but the Vikings are a well-run organization.

Nothing to see here with Darnold.

That about wraps it all up. Good luck this week in your fantasy football matchups this weekend. We'll see you next week with another round of injury updates. Until next time.
