Week 11 Running Back Outlooks for Fantasy Football

Rico Dowdle, Dallas Cowboys - Fantasy Football Outlook

Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle grades as a high-end RB3 heading into Monday night's matchup with the Houston Texans. Mike McCarthy stated earlier this week that there is no more committee in Dallas, although that has become increasingly evident over the past month with Dowdle's usage ramping up.

With guaranteed volume, he is startable, but his ceiling remains limited due to the downturn of the Cowboys' offense without quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring). Dowdle is a volume-based play in Week 11 against a Houston defense that ranks seventh against opposing running backs.

- Brant Handson, RotoBaller

Audric Estime, Denver Broncos - Fantasy Football Outlook

Denver Broncos rookie running back Audric Estime could be poised to be the Broncos' leading rusher for the second straight week on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11. Head coach Sean Payton said before last week's loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs that the team was looking to get Estime more involved, but it was a surprise to see him lead the backfield with 14 carries for 53 yards, while Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin combined for three carries for 13 yards.

The 21-year-old rookie is expected to continue to see more reps against Atlanta on Sunday, making him the best fantasy option in Denver's backfield as an RB3/flex. The bad news for Estime's fantasy value is he hasn't been targeted through the air over 47 offensive snaps in his six games in 2024, likely making him touchdown-dependent on the ground.

- Keith Hernandez, RotoBaller

Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs - Fantasy Football Outlook

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt will take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 11. Hunt found himself on the injury report with a knee injury but practiced fully all week and has been removed from the report ahead of the contest. Hunt turned into another strong performance against the Denver Broncos in last week's contest.

The veteran running back did not find much success on the ground, only gaining 35 yards on 14 carries, but he found success through the air. The 29-year-old hauled in seven catches for 65 yards against the Broncos. Hunt will have an easier matchup this week against the Buffalo Bills, who rank 31st in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs this season.

Hunt is ranked RB15 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings this week, so start him as a high-end RB2. Fantasy managers will have to deal with the eventual return of Isiah Pacheco, but Hunt will have the backfield to himself for at least another week.

- Joshua Costello, RotoBaller
