Antonio Gibson fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 7 (2024). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Antonio Gibson for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Bench in Nearly All Formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: FLEX if desperate
ANALYSIS: Antonio Gibson had a brief one-week stint as the feature back for the New England Patriots in Week 6 but was unable to do much with the opportunity.
It was a tough matchup against a good Houston run defense, but Gibson still finished with only 19 yards rushing on 13 attempts and 24 yards receiving on three catches. Even with Rhamondre Stevenson out, Gibson played just 48% of the snaps and failed to make an impact in the box score.
Stevenson appears ready to go for Week 7 - though he's officially listed as a "game-time decision." If he starts, he should regain his job as the early-down back for the Pats. In games where Stevenson has played this season, Gibson has seen his snap share in the 20-40% range, limiting his upside.
Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) - who foreshadows that he thinks he can play on Sunday - was a full participant in practice today and is listed as questionable.

The Pats play in London on Sunday morning against Jacksonville. While it's a good matchup for this offense, and Drake Maye seems to have re-energized the passing game, Gibson is a very unreliable fantasy player right now.
I recommend keeping him on the bench unless you have no other options or if Stevenson is a surprise scratch for some reason. His floor is simply too low to be trusted in 10 or 12-team leagues.
