ANALYSIS: Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker had the best game of his career on Sunday, being targeted nine times by QB Gardner Minshew II and hauling in seven passes for 96 yards and a touchdown. Tucker has blinding speed and was used sparingly as a deep threat in 2023.
The problem is target competition. Tucker has to compete with WRs Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers and TE Brock Bowers, who each demand a significant target share. The Raiders also like to throw it to running backs. Their RBs Zamir White and Alexander Mattison have combined for 15 targets through three games.

Minshew has been a solid volume passer, but with so much competition for his targets, it's an uphill battle for Tucker to get more involved. That said, he's worth a bench stash. He's a fundamentally solid receiver with ridiculous speed.

The Raiders should get him involved, but that doesn't mean they will. He's worth taking a chance on as a bench stash, though. If Adams, Meyers, or Bowers get hurt, Tucker could step into a bigger role. He could also do that if the coaches decide to get him the ball more.
