Nashville NASCAR Practice Speeds, Lap Averages, and Notes

Ty Gibbs - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR

NASCAR Practice Speeds, Notes, and Lap Averages. Use these NASCAR stats and info to build lineups on DraftKings for the the 2024 Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday afternoon in preparation for the upcoming Ally 400 on Sunday.

The 38-car field was split into two groups for this practice session. Below you'll find the two practice groups, key notes from the practice session and the practice speeds for all drivers.

Nashville is a 1.33-mile tri-oval track that is unique because it is concrete. Because of the concrete surface, Nashville is often compared to Dover. Other similar tracks include Kansas and Las Vegas, where Kyle Larson won both races this season.

Important Practice Notes

Corey Heim - Corey Heim will be making his third NASCAR Cup Series start this weekend at Nashville. He also ran at Dover earlier this season (finished 25th) as well as Kansas (finished 22nd). He ran the No. 43 Toyota for Legacy Motor Club in those races. This weekend, he is behind the wheel of the No. 50 Toyota for 23XI Racing.

Ryan Blaney - The No. 12 Ford of Ryan Blaney had the best long-run speed during practice. He ranked best in 10-, 15-, and 20-lap averages.

Group A Drivers - Group A had the advantage in speed during practice because of track conditions.
